Continuous Improvement Manager, Accounting ServicesThe opportunity:
The Business Analyst will work on continuous improvement initiatives with internal business partners and accounting departments throughout the company.
This position reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager, Accounting Services and will work directly along with manager(s) across shared services.
The position requires a highly motivated self-starter with a proactive and analytical mindset.
How you will impact WestRock:
Assist in defining project objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirementsIdentify, develop, and/or enhance tools, reports, and metrics that drive continuous improvement for the Accounting Shared Services teamConstruct process workflow charts, maps, and diagrams to define current procedures and look for areas of improvementDocument procedures that have been improved by creating SOP'sMonitor project improvement progress by tracking activity, resolving problems that may arise, publishing progress reports, recommending actions, and maintaining KPIsManage project development from conception through completion (both large and small) in accordance with program objectivesReview and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reportsUnderstand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any process changesSuggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations.
Actively participate in the implementation of approved changesCreate informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvementConduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issuesWhat you need to succeed:
Bachelor's Degree in BusinessBasic accounting knowledge preferredKnowledge of Alteryx, SQL and BI driven applications is a plusKnowledge of Power Pivot and concepts of robotics is a plusMinimum 2-3 years of experience with a large company Advanced Microsoft Office Skills with an emphasis in Excel and AccessERP systems experience.
Comprehensive understanding of various integrated financial and accounting systems.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
