RESPONSIBILITIES
This Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Finance Director, Electronic Payments and will be responsible for preparing the Expense budget, forecast and month end close for the Cash Edge group within the Electronic Payments division of Fiserv.
Other responsibilities will include:
1. Performs monthly close and forecast process and prepares monthly operational reports and financial tracking of projects across the business unit.
2. Supports creation of annual and multi-year strategic plan.
3. Prepares financial and statistical reports as required.
4. Monitors and establishes internal controls to assure proper compliance.
5. Perform ad hoc analyses for operational and financial management.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field.
Experience
o 5 years of applicable accounting/finance and/or other related experience.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Ideal candidate will have experience in excel based financial modeling and financial planning and analysis.
o Knowledge of Software Capitalization a strong plus
o Strong organizational skills, in particular, an attention to detail and the ability to prepare reports in a timely and effective manner.
o Ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports and skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data.
o Ability to prepare a variety of financial statements, reports and analyses as well as accuracy in working with large amounts of data.
o Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with supervisors and personnel and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, business partners and company officials.
o Proficiency with Excel is required. SAP and SAP Business Analyzer knowledge is a plus.
