Assigned workspace Company-issued equipment Hands-on training Monthly home internet stipend SrNetwork Engineer Role Responsibilities Design, Deploy, and Maintain Network Solutions:
Create and implement intricate network solutions that align with business needs.
Deploy local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
Network Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Monitor network performance and security.
Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Proactively address network-related challenges.
Collaboration and Expertise:
Interface with various IT departments as the go-to networking resource.
Assess, recommend, and implement network solutions to support business initiatives.
Evaluate and approve design or configuration changes.
Highest Level Escalation Support:
Provide expert troubleshooting for network operations.
Ensure the quality of individual network services.
Maintain and support enterprise SaaS platforms.
SrNetwork Engineer Qualifications & Skills Technical Skills and Certifications:
Proficiency in network technologies, including BAN/LAN/WAN, VoIP, VTC, WAN Acceleration, VLAN, DMZ, Cisco IOS, WLAN, MPLS, QoS, NAT, IPv4, and IPv6.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, F5, ITIL, CCDP, CCISP, SP, JNCIP, and AWS.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
Experience with Cisco Nexus Data Center switching hardware and software.
Skills:
OSPF, BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS Protocols, QoS, Firewalls, IPv6.
Catalyst and Nexus 9k series, Firepower firewalls, some Meraki, F5 load balancers
Experience:
Familiarity with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
Familiarity with F5 Load Balancers and Cloud connectivity Management of 600
servers running Windows, Linux, and VMWare.
