About the Job
Summary:
The Customer Service/ Warehouse Associate associate will set the pace for efficiency at the Distribution Center.
Providing high-level administrative support to the team, this role will be essential to day-to-day operations.
The duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Serve as a primary point for all customers and interact with customers daily via phone, email, and face-to-face and give showroom/ warehouse tours to customers.
Oversee the upkeep and cleanliness of the front office area, ensuring a professional and organized environment.
Assist manager in daily scheduling of deliveries and shipments.
Assist manager in monitoring, evaluating and replacing inventory.
The company has an ERP system called Stone Profit Systems, where all tasks will be executed.
Process invoices and review various accounting files and records Prepare special and standard reports.
Perform general clerical work such as data entry and maintenance, filing, ordering supplies, answering phones, etc.
Maintain personnel and customer files.
Maintain billing information by tracking and processing customer payments.
Additional duties as assigned by management.
Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound charges for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labelling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.
), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
Additionally, the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
Minimum High School diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years of business experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Stone Profit Systems (Additional Benefit) Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to operate standard office equipment Ability to prioritize mail and telephone calls for the manager's review and/or action Experience with scheduling Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task Office position requiring telephone and computer use Job Type:
