Network Engineer Role Responsibilities
- Design, Deploy, and Maintain Network Solutions:
- Create and implement intricate network solutions that align with business needs.
- Deploy local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
- Network Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor network performance and security.
- Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Proactively address network-related challenges.
- Collaboration and Expertise:
- Interface with various IT departments as the go-to networking resource.
- Assess, recommend, and implement network solutions to support business initiatives.
- Evaluate and approve design or configuration changes.
- Highest Level Escalation Support:
- Provide expert troubleshooting for network operations.
- Ensure the quality of individual network services.
- Maintain and support enterprise SaaS platforms.

Network Engineer Qualifications & Skills
- Technical Skills and Certifications:
- Proficiency in network technologies, including BAN/LAN/WAN, VoIP, VTC, WAN Acceleration, VLAN, DMZ, Cisco IOS, WLAN, MPLS, QoS, NAT, IPv4, and IPv6.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, F5, ITIL, CCDP, CCISP, SP, JNCIP, and AWS.
- Education and
Experience:- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus Data Center switching hardware and software.
- Skills:
- OSPF, BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS Protocols, QoS, Firewalls, IPv6.
- Catalyst and Nexus 9k series, Firepower firewalls, some Meraki, F5 load balancers
Experience:- Familiarity with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with F5 Load Balancers and Cloud connectivity
- Management of 600
servers running Windows, Linux, and VMWare.
